Hi Backers,

The final payment has been made and my manufacturer and Ideaspatcher are arranging freight and shipping.  This has taken a little longer than I hoped, and we had to request a new U.S. shipping partner for our domestic orders. We also had to arrange pallet information (including CBM, weight, number of cartons, boxes, value of imported goods, etc.)

Also, my main laptop is undergoing repairs after a Windows update + the cold in my car essentially locked my computer in update mode.  No harddrive damage/expansion thankfully (and the drive is still readable) but it will be a few more days until it is fixed and I can get Ideaspatcher the collated address sheets they need from me.

We are hurrying as best we can.  Thanks for your patience everyone.

Boat/Shipping

Hi Backers,

I received an update from my manufacturer a few days ago that our games are all printed and completed.  I will be using Ideaspatcher (located in France) as our fulfillment company.  The company is being used by Jamey Stegmaier for his Scythe campaign, so this gives me added confidence that they will do a good job and trim our $19k shipping bill as best they can!  About 50% or our backers are international, so it made sense to set up base in Europe, and this will also allow us to execute our EU-friendly shipping as planned.

Ideaspatcher will be partnering with a U.S.-based company to deliver domestic packages and Canadian packages.

Also, the original backers from the 2012 campaign will also have their copies shipped during this time.

Up next is final payment and boat delivery.  I will post another update when our boat has launched. Thank you!

First Mass Production Copy Here!

Hey Backers,

Just received the first shrinkwrapped copy of Nova Cry.  It looks great.

I am also really pleased with the custom pawns (which I hope you all like better than our previous ones) and the translucent cubes.  Card quality is also good and clear.

As far as counts go, I noticed there was 1 extra cube for each color (green, blue, red), so I will check with the manufacturer to see if this was deliberate or not.  I also am not happy with the how dark the Victory Point track came out (the sample I originally received did not have this issue), so I will see what can be done to correct that.  As is, the yellow border between each point is invisible ("Do I have 5 points or 6 points?"), which I find totally unacceptable.

I am continuing to review all contents for any issues, but overall, I am pleased.  I will send another update once my manufacturer says everything is done and ready to ship.

"Was My Survey Filled Out?"

Hi Backers,

There are fewer than 30 of you who have not filled out your Backerkit survey.  I will personally send you a message via Kickstarter if your survey has not been filled out, otherwise be assured that your survey is complete. 

The survey was sent out many months ago, so it is understandable that some of you have forgotten whether you did or didn't square it away at the time.

About 30 of you have still not filled out your Backerkit survey.  Please be sure to do so in order to receive your pledge!

Also, those of you that who were original backers that made $1 pledges to support the new campaign do not have to answer the survey since your info has been collected through the KS survey in the original campaign.
